Lalu Sent to Jail In Fodder Case
In a momentous verdict, Rashtriya Janata Dal president Lalu Prasad Yadav was on Monday convicted and sent to jail by a special CBI court in Jharkhand along with 38 other accused, including former Bihar chief minister Jagannath Mishra, in a fodder scam case dating back to 1996.

This conviction is likely to disqualify him from being an MP and make him ineligible to stand for polls for at least six years.
