A police constable and two other men allegedly gangraped a 40-year-old woman from Hyderabad, at the Kothakota bus stand in Mahbubnagar. A fourth man, a home guard, was a spectator.
The woman, a resident of Almasguda, was waiting at the RTC bus stand to return to Hyderabad at around 1 am when the men dragged her to the back of the washroom near the bus stand and raped her. Mahbubnagar police arrested the four men in a few hours after the woman lodged a complaint.
